YOUR SAFE HARBOUR

Meet the neighbours.

Shopkeepers, a welcoming inn and a guild with work to offer. Town characters explain the server as you explore.

The castle & square

Eldric the Steward welcomes new arrivals. Find the fountain, learn the town charter and begin the four-stop welcome tour.

NEW TO PICRAFT?

Your first steps,
without the guesswork.

Everyone can build in unclaimed Public Survival land. You do not need to earn a rank before starting your home.

  1. 01

    Arrive in Castle Town

Meet Eldric, Rowan, Maeve and Selene. Right-click to talk. /town tutorial reminds you of the route.

  2. 02

    Choose your wilderness

Take the Public Survival gate or use /warp survival. /rtp finds a random public-world location.

  3. 03

Claim a home of your own

Use a golden shovel on opposite corners to claim land. A stick inspects claims. Save your return point with /sethome base.

  4. 04

    Return with a story

/spawn takes you to town; /home base brings you back. Your survival inventory and XP return when you return to that world.

PROGRESS THROUGH PLAY

Earn your place in town.

Ranks come from playing. Long idle periods do not count toward active playtime. Check your journey with /ranks.

12 tracked active hours

  • Five saved homes

Private worlds remain invitation-only at every rank. Rank progression never grants server administration.

THE TOWN'S CURRENCY

Make a living in PiBits.

Start with 100 PiBits. Earn through ordinary survival and guild work, then spend on supplies and useful kits. Use /bal to check your purse.

Start with the guild

01

Iron for Borin

Mine 12 iron ore and 12 deepslate iron ore.

40PiBits / day
02

The Night Watch

Defeat 10 zombies and five skeletons.

35PiBits / day
03

The Copper Kettle

Catch 12 fish for the inn.

25PiBits / day

Each contract has a 24-hour cooldown. All three together award 100 PiBits. The welcome-tour reward is once per player.

A sensible first loop

Complete the welcome tour, take a guild contract before setting out, gather what your base needs, and sell only the surplus. Buying items just to craft and resell them is not an intended money-making method. Report pricing exploits.

THE TOWN CHARTER

Build freely.
Respect what others build.

Public survival is open to new arrivals. Claims protect homes and belongings; the town itself is protected.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few useful answers.

Why is my inventory different in town?

Lobby, Public Survival and private worlds have separate inventory and XP profiles. Returning to your survival world restores that world's inventory. Money, ranks, skills and quest progress are shared.

Do I need a special modpack?

Use Minecraft Java 26.3. Most server features are plugins and do not need client mods. Your compatible graphics mods and shaders can remain. A client-side recipe viewer and optional voice chat are being prepared and tested; they are not required to join.

Is a texture pack required?

No. Resource packs remain optional. The server is exploring a medieval HUD and GUI style, but will not force an untested pack or replace your preferred textures.

Can Bedrock players join?

Bedrock networking has been configured, including NetherNet support. A real outside-network Bedrock join is still awaiting verification, so Java is the verified joining route for now.

What is still being developed?

The castle-town interaction tests, arena combat, expanded RPG encounters, optional voice, recipe viewing and medieval HUD are being developed on a separate test instance. They will be released after verification, with live-world progress preserved.
